Is CNN racist? (against Blacks and blue-collar Catholics) updated since last night.

I watched CNN this evening (though only after 8 p.m.) and I can report that if we are to believe CNN party hostess Campbell Brown, windbag James Carville, ex-Bush flackcatcher Ari Fleischer, word-panelling Gloria Borger etc. the reason Barack Obama did not win in Pennsylvania and probably won’t win in Indiana (& why he lost Ohio) or other decaying industrial states, is because the blue-collar Catholics won’t vote for Obama, a black man. They did not come right out and say that blue-collar Catholics (I was wearing a blue shirt) were racist but it was heavily implied and it would seem to me, a paranoid lapsed dogan, that these guys are being disingenuous and that blue-collar Catholics are being used as proxies by these hypocritical pundits (We love black folk, we just don’t think Barack has the experience to fill the top job in the land like George Bush does) who themselves favour status quo candidates Hillary Clinton or John McCain and greatly fear an Obama win and all that would entail. Other euphemism for these fat-tattooed Catholic slobs is Reagan Democrats. I’m not sure Nancy Reagan would have spent so much on her wardrobe if she knew that’s the kind of people she was dressing up for.

If I were an American blue-collar Catholic I would hate to be blamed down the road for standing in the way of real change in the U.S. And I would stop watching CNN. And ABC after the hatchet job they did on Obama the other night. The U.S. is in a mess not because of anything Obama did but because of the economic & foreign policies of both the Bush and Clinton empires.

Bill Richardson (on Larry King vs. James Carville) a former ambassador under Clinton and himself a candidate for the Democratic leadership before bowing out and supporting Obama showed himself to be a very wise man. A half-caste himself, he believes Obama is the best candidate to bring people together. Maybe that’s naive after hearing some of the vitriol spewing from the pundits.

Larry K. closed his show with Laura and Jenna Bush who are pushing some children’s book they’ve written. The main character is a red-headed boy (Irish catholic?) called Tyrone (Northern County in Ireland.) When you see a Bush reading a kid’s book run for cover cause something horrible is about to happen. The two women were also very effusive about the Pope offering that two of George’s siblings are Catholic. This must have given some cold comfort to the blue-collar-fat-tattooed-reagan-democrat-slobs who were watching.
