Succotash Wednesday.

Posted in Uncategorized by ruthanzo on February 6, 2008

Fat Tuesday becomes Succotash Wednesday. According to WikiP, succotash (a concoction of beans and corn) was a popular dish during the Great Depression (along with bootleg hootch – no prozac and valium back then.) Only 40 days left til Easter when the recession should be over and the figurative crystal chickens of the economic stimulus will have come home to roost. Then we can begin the hunt for our Fabergé eggs. Oh. How could I have forgotten? We don’t live in the USofA. We’ll be lining up for our free X-rays.

XannaX

Our poor real chickens were taken out by a nasty weasel last week.
