Robt. MacConnachie, (He of the Cheese Shoppe YUL) hit 98. At 97 he could drink me under table. “Stay in the Present- Learn something new every day”
Celts (even from DPPaddy land) are hardy.
Lord Epaulette Peglegette (Ret.) reset our clocks in Feb 64 in NYC.
    All in all,
    It’s a blunderful life.
But The naan bread is great for the Kneady especially in these times with diminishing (to the point of evanescence) dough!

Anyone who thought the federal election was a waste of money doesn’t want to know how much an extra 6 weeks feeding an off-duty government is going to set us back. Down the hall from my office is Claire Meunier, who in the 70’s was married to J-D Lalond, who in 2005 took over from J-R Saul as Rideau Hall’s philosopher/second-man. During the leadup to yesterday’s decision I wonder how much thinking was done out loud re. the GG as the icon of federalism. While old blue eyes was singing a minor third, the crown has stepped forward with a creak of the floorboards and a swirl of goldflakes, into the spot.
